Indian Air Force Group C Age Limit :

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years

Indian Air Force Group C Educational Qualification :

Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Hindi Typist :-

• 12th Class pass from a recognized Board.
• Skill test norms on computer. English typing @ 35 words per minute, or Hindi typing @ 30 words per minute (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key Depressions per hour or 9000 Key Depressions per hour on an average of 5 Key Depressions for each word)

Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) :-

• Matriculation (10th) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university.
• Must be holding a valid Civil Driving Licence for light and heavy vehicle.
• Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism.
• Minimum 2 years experience in driving motor vehicles.

Indian Air Force Group C Mode of selection:

• All application are scrutinized in terms of age limit, minimum qualification, documents and certificates. Thereafter eligible candidates will be issued call letter for written test.
• The eligible candidates will be required to appear for written test. The written test will be based on minimum educational qualification.

The written test

• The question cum answer paper will be in English and Hindi. (e) The requisite number of candidates will be short listed and called for skill /practical/physical test wherever applicable based on merit/category in the written test. (f) Short listed candidates are to bring original certificates, copies of which were annexed with the application.
• Physical / Skill test will be of qualifying nature only and marks awarded therein will not be added in total marks while preparing merit list.

Indian Air Force Group C Recruitment 2024 – Application duly typed in English/Hindi as per the format given below duly completed with recent passport size photo graph duly attested by self pasted thereon are to be submitted by the candidates to the address as mentioned at para- 2 above. Applicants to mention clearly on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF……AND CATEGORY………”. The application is to be accompanied with self addressed envelope with Rs. 10 postage stamp duly affixed.

IAF Group C Selection Process 2024

The selection process for recruitment of various Group C posts under the Indian Air Force consists of multiple stages, which are as follows.

• Written Exam: Candidates who will apply for recruitment of LDC, Hindi Typist or Driver in the IAF will be called for Written Exam, date for the same is not yet disclosed officially by the Indian Air Force, but there is a high speculation that it will take place in September or October 2024.
• Skill, Practical or Physical Test: Candidates who will pass the written exam will be called for Skill, Practical or Physical Test, if applicable, it is likely to be administered within six weeks after the release of the result for Written Examination.
